Warriors Drop Contest in Ottawa

The Waterloo Warriors lost to the host Ottawa Gee-Gees by a 74-66 score on Friday night. Ottawa used a 25-12 edge in the final period to stage a comeback for the win. Cam McIntyre led Waterloo with 21 points, while Matt Riendeau led the Gee-Gees with 20.

On Saturday the Warriors will play Carleton. The game will be broadcast live on SSN Canada.

The Carleton Ravens are the defending CIS National Champions. The Ravens are 5-0 in league play and 11-0 in CIS action this year. Kevin McCleery leads Carleton with 16.5ppg, with Tyson Hinz, Elliott Thompson and Willy Manigat also averaging double figures in points.
