Four players have had their numbers retired in Waterloo Warriors History.

22	Bill Jones	During the 1960-61 season Bill Jones established a season of excellence for UW basketball in their early history. His number 22 was retired in honour of that contribution.
11	Jaan Laaniste	After four years of team MVP, Jaan Laaniste was honoured with his number retired following the 1971-72 season.
53	Mike Moser	After Mike's tragic death in January 1975, Waterloo retired the number of Mike Moser, while the CIAU honoured his memory by naming the MVP of CIAU basketball in his honour.
21	Peter Savich	After leading the team in scoring for five straight years, and honour as MVP of CIAU basketball in 1984-85, the number of Peter Savich was retired at the end of his career.
